Sunday, February 9, 2020 - A fav CdP paired to excellent Persian kebabs. Great fruit intensity for a 22y old. Nose of maraschino cherry, candied strawberry, blood orange, and mint. Palette - I don’t know! A lot going on and quite a lot of fruit still, and a stew of other complex flavors. Reminds me of a barley wine. Still has a background of faint, supportive tannin and acid. This may not get much better, but I’m not in a rush to open my last bottle.
