Whereas the WesMar was light and red-fruited, this shows the bigger darker pinot fruit profile. Still an elegant wine by California standards, with the aforementioned dark pinot fruit and spice, licorice and macerated berry tones. This was a slightly better match for the duck breast. 91-92 pts.
