Saturday, October 11, 2008 - nose: nice and easy nose of red fruits accompanied by some underbrush and some black fruit tones with some black pepper hiding underneath
taste: nice and easy with red and black fruits mostly and a nice snap of black pepper on the back end
overall: a really nice wine, especially for the price. Obviously not to be confused with a CdP, but this has a really good basis for old world grenache with in the pocket flavors that give you exactly what you want. While there may not be much depth on this, its still a very enjoyable wine and a good introduction into grenache based wines
