84 Points

Sunday, October 12, 2008 - Decanter World Wine Awards Trophy Tasting (Wonder Bar, Selfridges): Light yellow in colour this wine shows delicate citrus fruit, grass and a hint of apricot on the nose. Palate shows savoury apple. Fresh and long. Great balance.

Winner of Regional Trophy for Chardonnay under £10 (Australiia)

11/24/2014 2:20:00 PM - 84 points is good. Especially for me for a white! I guess it depends on your preference and perspective... https://www.jancisrobinson.com/files/pdfs/CT_score_equivalents.pdf

11/24/2014 2:27:00 PM - It's all subjective, but on cellar tracker, 84 pt reviews generally correspond to below average or somewhat flawed wines. I take your point that this might be the result of grade inflation, but in the CT context, 84 pts just doesn't seem to fit a wine that is fresh and long with great balance.

Also, thanks for responding so quickly, that JR chart is great!
