Monday, March 23, 2020 - What a surprise! Found this wine as well in a box while spelunking in a long forgotten region of the offsite storage. Popped and poured, Riedel Syrah and grassl 1855, this wine showed late primary early secondary developments. The wine as thin to medium on the body with some funk (trace rocks?).

1/2 bottle under cork the next day without gas showed a terrific delicate red strawberry reminiscent of a playful lithe Grenache that was spectacular. The 5% oxidative character actually provides a nice texture. Terrific the next day. Great evolution.
