Friday, March 27, 2020 - Good VFM. Moderate length, still a bit tannic but not coarse. No hint of vintage heat/flabbiness. Drank over 3 hours, and by the third the merlot had come to the fore with a nice mocha note. Perhaps lacking just a bit of depth but it's hardly thin. Good, not great, but quite a bit of headroom for improvement. Leave for 5 years at least and I think it'll be a very good wine.
