Monday, March 30, 2020 - I really like Sineann’s 2018 Wy’East. The wine is dark with a lovely nose showcasing plums, strawberries and red licorice. This is still a bit unevolved, but swirling reveals hints of the spicy character the vineyard is known for (a few years aging really brings it out). The fruit is ripe but not at all overripe, with an appealing structure: modest acidity, soft tannins. 89 now but could merit 91 at peak in 3-5 years.
