Saturday, April 11, 2020 - 100% whole-clustered. 2017 is a vintage that many critics rave about this domaine's wine. The wine is feminine and finessed with red berries, violets and spice. In particular, palate is soft and approachable with precise fruit. While many burgundy producers have taken a "modern" approach of forward and juicy wine which make them taste so similar across the board at its youth, Arnoux Lachaux's wine has its own distinct character. My only question is how will these wines age given it is so accessible now. Nevertheless, the wine is so delicious and enjoyable at this stage.
