Saturday, April 11, 2020 - Ruby brick color. Muted nose. Still has fairly pronounced tannins. But has a surprising freshness and energy. The fruit is fading with dark cherry and cassis notes plus tobacco and cedar. Classic cabernet in a very elegant style. Well within its drinking window, but still has 5+ year ahead of it. A classic wine.
