Lovely texture, very little brown in this bottle, tannins nearly fully resolved, the berries and pencil lead very harmonious
Second Pauillac in two meals, (first doubleheader in nearly 20 years), this was more enjoyable and balanced with lamb than its younger, more highly rated compatriot, being notably less intense, but less of a match for triple-creme brie
