Sunday, May 3, 2020 - This showed very well and really still seems slightly young; the nose was exuberantly spicy with ripe currant and plum notes, hints of raspberry, forest floor, and crushed violet. The palate has good concentration and overall is nicely balanced, still with a bit of structure on the back end that shortened the finish. This is certainly entering maturity, but I'd say should easily have another 5-6 years of excellent drinking and possible improvement and then hold another 5+ after that.
