Friday, May 8, 2020 - Popped-and-poured, and enjoyed during a virtual tasting with Vero and Laurent Drouhin, plus over an additional 5 hours. Bottle in perfect condition, with a cork only begrudgingly extracted. Darker color than I'd prefer, but all fear disappeared once I smelled the wine. Floral start with opulent orchard fruit showing both sweet and savory spice. Identical flavors with unctuous textures and impressive density. Even better than a great bottle directly from Drouhin enjoyed at dinner in Beaune in 2014.
