Monday, May 11, 2020 - Drank over 2 nights. The wine was garnet with a brick red around the rim, showing its age. There was still dried cherry and dried plum fruit, but it was much more subtle and allowed the earth and dried herb flavors to shine through. The tannins have softened and the acid is there, but tame. It drank beautifully, even better the 2nd night than the first. So well balanced, and absolutely lovely with our spaghetti bolognese.
