Saturday, May 16, 2020 - Thought this was one of the more special wines I've had in a while. It is light bodied as many other reviewers state. There's quite a bit of vanilla on the nose. I thought jrpas1 captured the flavor profile quite well a couple of years ago.
The delicacy and flavor profile made it an excellent companion to a somewhat lighter dish than I'd normally choose to pair with Syrah. In this case, pork cutlets with green garlic salsa verde.
