Sunday, May 24, 2020 - Pop and pour, which was a mistake. Wine lacked much character upon opening. Almost no nose. Began to open up after an hour but by then it was too late (!) as we had consumed most of the bottle. Not sure if it would have ever showed anything remarkable. It was pleasant and well balanced and I usually like my Pinot to be more restrained but this one lacked some of the terroir and earthiness that I typically enjoy with burgundy.
