Wednesday, May 27, 2020 - Nose has fruit: dark grape and plum. Palate is bright, almost tart. Then the spice: fragrant wood, leather. I haven't tasted this kind of wine in a long time, and I miss it. Refreshing and oaky; layered but not heavy. Day 2 is still bright but less oaky. Fewer layers of flavor, but the right ones for a spicy dinner.
