Likes this wine:

Thursday, June 4, 2020 - At the open:
Smells of perfumed savage earth and sweet dark red brooding fruit
Tastes of untamed cherry and rough oak
Fine grained moderate tannin on the front gums

Medium+ bodied.

After 1 hour:
Smells of precise light red fruit with a touch of menthol that almost has texture
Tastes of elegant balanced cherry with a supportive dark earth undertone.

This is a wonderful village Chambolle at a very reasonable price. The aromas at the open are classically alluring and the wine finds its own confidently after 30 minutes of air. You can ask for nothing more in at the village level.
