Sunday, June 7, 2020 - Was slightly worried as bottle had a bit of fungus under the foil top and cork was very damp. Managed to gently pry out the very fragile cork but was rewarded with a beautiful balanced, fully mature but still surprisingly fresh claret. What a treat! Clearly orange on the rim. Finish was quietly lingering and wonderful to savour. Classy and elegant would be the key words I would use. Am going to hunt myself down a few more bottles!
As ACheng noted , drink this all by itself and enjoy! Food will just overpower it.
