Monday, June 29, 2020 - Did not take a full note at time of consumption, but this required a little time to open up and is drinking beautifully right now. Dark red/black in color, nose of black fruits, cassis, blackberry, and violets and some secondary notes. Palate was rich and ripe with soft tannins and balanced acidity. Like I said, in a good place right now. The more 2002s I have the opportunity to drink, the more I'm a fan of the slightly overlook vintage.
