Monday, July 6, 2020 - This was lovely. There is that distinct cayuse funk (though not over the top here). But definitely a signature style. The blend gives it a bit more structure, the cab providing even a bit of sweetness. It all worked really well together. There were those signature umami flavors that I associate with Cayuse – notes of capscisum, tabasco. This would not be confused with an old world Bdx blend, but also not a Napa one either.
