90 Points

Tuesday, August 11, 2020 - 30. year old Dom for 30th Anniversary....Wife loved it, I simply thought it was good and interesting...probably better because of the company and occasion. a little oxidized, but still had plenty of small beads and some fruit and minerality. I think it is amazing that a Champagne can still have decent flavor after 30 years! I don't know if my bottle was representative, but if so, I would recommend drinking now....will definitely not improve. Palate shows citrus and sea shell, some brioche, and a hint of caramelization (sweetness). Also present was some limestone and sea shell. Very good, especially for its age! 90+ points (conservatively). This would have likely been a better 20 year Anniversary Champagne.
