Color: Bright ruby red with an orange-brown edge. Aroma / bouquet: Interesting and complex, layered bouquet. On the one hand still tough and powerful with notes of cassis, meat gravy, pencil shavings and leather. Taste / Aftertaste: This wine also proves to be extremely vital and robust in the mouth. A fresh tart attack followed by mouth-filling and still pleasantly powerful tannins that are kept in check by the relatively modest 13% alcohol. Long, pleasant finish. General / potential: Beautiful classic Pauillac, nicely matured but still full of vitality. 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 12 + Taste / Finish: 17 + Overall / potential: 8 = 92/100
