Sunday, August 30, 2020 - The youthful edges have softened in this wine, but it's still got a long, happy life ahead of it. Opened four hours before serving but not decanted. Translucent cherry color. Beautiful nose of cherry, flowers, spice, and minerals. A powerful yet reserved palate presence, with great finesse and discipline as it unfolds the fruit, earth, and spice notes on the palate. Still a moderate tannic kick at the end, but the finish is superb. A-
