Saturday, September 5, 2020 - No flaws, but to me it is all about the vintage. I have no grasp remotely of why this happens, but it does. Great red burgundy vintages where the stars align and the ratings are high turn out to be either a dull if you will vintage or a bright fruit vintage (which describes 1985, my all time favorite red burg vintage). To me, 2005 is turning out to be a dull vintage - plenty of fruit, beautifully balanced, but just dull.
