Friday, September 18, 2020 - This is my first 2020 wine, and it's a beauty! Very pale pink. Gentle, floral nose of jasmine, rose, and red grapefruit. Palate shows mild flavours of apple, rose petal, and lemon peel. Lovely mouthfeel: good balance of acidity, minerality, tannin, and astringency; all elements are assertive without being overpowering. Winemaker called it 'very textural'; I agree.
