Sunday, September 27, 2020 - Splash decant. Dark garnet, suspended sediment. Fragrant bouquet of kirsch. Palate follows nose, lifted but sweet red cherry, some nice spice notes and a nice line of acidity giving a lingering final. Medium bodied, quite polished with great balance. Tannins fully integrated.

This is open for business and very pleasant. Drinks well at cellar temperature as while it warms alcohol begins to be perceptible. Otherwise, just serve this with some relatively rich foods and it's poise and balance will shine.
