Sunday, September 27, 2020 - Nose: The nose is plush and balanced with dark red cherries, plums, raspberries, black currants, cocoa powder, licorice, bell peppers, sweet tobacco, smoke, and cedar notes.

Taste: The feel is full bodied with medium acidity and chewy, medium+ tannins. There is a bit of coarseness to the tannins as well while the plushness of the nose follows through with dark red cherries, plums, raspberries, black currants, bell peppers, cocoa powder, sweet tobacco, and cedar notes.

Overall: This is lovely stuff. This shows off the warmer climate while also retaining a slight old-world sensibility. It does lack some depth if one is comparing to top new world cabs, but this is a really damned good $30-35 cab that will please a lot of palates.
