Sunday, September 27, 2020 - Overwhelming impression on the nose is Apple Pie... So, a combination of baked apple, buttery cooked crust, and a touch of cinnamon. So enticing and just straight put a smile on my face.

Much more steely, crisp and mineral-driven than your average Viognier. Not much in the way of flowers and tropical fruit like you often get. And that's a good thing! At least, for the sake of variety and surprise.

I think I'm in love with this white wine. Nothing sticks out that makes it challenging and yet it is utterly complex. None of that oily, greasy mouthfeel that Viognier can get. This is the kind of wine that I think to myself, anybody would like this. What's not to love!?

You could approach this as a patio pounder or pair it with a pretty wide variety of food. I imagine you could age it but it drinks just fine the way it is. It's kinda perfect!
