Wednesday, November 25, 2020 - Decanted one hour. Terrific classic nose showing black fruit, lead pencil and a little tobacco. The wine is fully mature with well integrated and resolved tannins. Delicious black currant and plum mixed with savoury notes of tobacco and forest floor. Overall a very strong effort but a little four square and lacking the complexity and depth of the best vintages.
