Wednesday, December 10, 2008 - nose- smoky, medicinal (per dad), almost smells like a brandy - complex nose. Mouth - roasty and toasty, herbal like qualities which remind me of a digestif. I get a touch of raisin which gives the hint of possibly being a little overripe. Tried side by side with the 2001 Yalumba Octavius Shiraz which I preferred. over this.
