I thought 10 years would be a good time to check in but it is simply just too early. Antonio Galoni states that this is the most open of the three single vineyards and states that 10 years may even be too soon, and I would say he is correct. Given that, this is still the most impressive of the Colonnello's that I have tried. The fruit is bursting and the finish goes on for days. I have another '10 Colonnello as well as a Romirasco and 3 Cicala's. My temptation got the best of me with one of the Cicala's (which was amazing) but I have 3 more to see how it evolves. It could be quite some time before I attempt another '10 tasting of these.
