Saturday, December 12, 2020 - Creamy and gently sweet with a touch of smoke, and little of the toasty sharpness of many champagnes. Back label says taste is reminiscent of chestnuts and banana, and damned if that isn’t all I taste after reading that – more on the savoury unripe side of banana. Maybe a touch of preserved lemon or grilled pineapple as well? Multilayered, really holds one’s interest. Graceful and unique.
