Tannins are mostly resolved and, to borrow a phrase, suave. I’m not sure what more you’d ask for from a wine. I’m obviously not a professional critic, not an awarder of points as a rule, but for my own personal tastes this is at the peak of wine experiences. There is room for company to be sure. Not sure that, for me at least, there is a higher plateau than this bottle on this night.
