Thursday, December 31, 2020 - This wine is ready to drink. Unlike 2005 Bordeaux...many of which are not yet even approachable , this is just slightly over the drinking window hump but well within the window. The tannins are almost nonexistent but in a good way. There are mounds of crushed ripe fruit, tar and leather, with a hint of root beer on the finish. Delicious though not terribly complex. I might have preferred it a few years ago but still delivering yet in a more decadent style.
