Wednesday, January 6, 2021 - A perennial favorite of mine. Tonight this bottle was drinking well after an hour or so of air with lots of rich orchard fruit, bracing acidity and a firm underlying minerality at its core. There’s just a bit more oak than I usually prefer, but this is clearly on the youngish side so I suspect the oak treatment will integrate more thoroughly if given more time.
