Prior reviewers noted that this wine is on the decline, which I totally disagree with. If you are looking for a younger wine full of fruits and flowers, then yes, it is on the decline. But if that's what you're looking for, why are you drinking 23 year old village level white Burgundy?!

Everything is just as it ought to be in this wine. The color is a lovely deep gold- no browning at all. The flavors are likewise perfectly age appropriate; a bit oxidized, nutty, caramel, a touch dusty (in a good way), round, incredibly complex, and well integrated. Stewed apples and pears with cinnamon linger in the background. There is not even the slightest hint of any off-flavors or unpleasantness. A beauty!
