Saturday, January 16, 2021 - From glass. Still pretty dark. Nose of sharp dark fruit, somewhat closed. Similar palate, also leathery, but terrific flushness, breadth, and also freshness. Acidity and tannin in balance, high alcohol not noticeable at all. Not a heavy wine - a large wine. Almost ready (maybe?), but not too early, either.
