Tuesday, January 19, 2021 - Opened a split to drink with dinner of pasta and tomato sauce. Ruby-maroon color. Nose with heavy black fruit, plums, vanilla and cedar. Palate includes black fruits with spices. Still fairly tight.. Tannins are not at all sharp but still firm enough that this wine will open up for another decade. Finish is medium.
