Saturday, January 23, 2021 - I bought a few bottles of this in the early 90s, and we drank all but this one long ago. Not sure why I kept it so long, but it showed quite well.

I decanted it just before serving. Cork in excellent condition. The colour was a fairly pale red-brown, faded but still quite good. On the nose it was classic old burgundy, really quite attractive and still with some fruit. On the palate, it was somewhat faded and austere, but still pretty good for a pinot noir of this age. Reasonably long aftertaste.

Overall, still holding up relatively well.
