I have a double magnum of this wine. Any idea when to open? Dave

    4/21/2021 7:58:00 PM - Greetings,
I think we have a couple different people talking here. I was thinking about opening this wine in five years. Then do I still need a five hour decant?

I received as a gift a bottle of this wine from the 2009 ivintage. Hope I do not have the same problems with the 2005. The wine was incredibly jammy. No precise flavors-nothing that made me think this was a wow wine. Now I am worried about the 3L 2005.

    Dave

4/22/2021 9:15:00 AM - Hi DPm.: This is the first time that I bought a wine not direct from the winery or direct from a store. However the bottle is in perfect condition with the ullage exactly where it should be. Being a double magnum I would tend to believe if it saw a little temperature variation it would not be a big deal. Thanks for you input. Dave
