Sunday, March 14, 2021 - Dark red, black core --- Nose blue and black fruit, some nutty aspects, elegant wood notes, some nice sour cherry --- Palate smooth, warm, nice fruit aspects, nice acidity, elegant, red and blue fruit, nice tartness, a little biz only a little heat --- Finishes on fruits aspects and pretty strong tartness. I had some Bordeaux `09s last weeks and was not overwhelmed, this one is an exception. Tasty and interesting. The underlying and shy beauty of red fruit and flowery aspects is captivating. This is hidden by a more masculine expression. All in all a really nice vine.
