No unpleasantness - smooth and 'sweet'. A bit hard to gauge - perhaps needs more time?However, if you drink now I would double decant for many hours. My rating is for it at its best.

Tasted again on 7/02/2024 - Deep garnet. Straight in this time to stewed black fruits, plums and dark chocolate. Smooth, soft tannins and good length. Alcohol very much present and lacks a bit of acidity to give it frashness and livliness. Overall rather sweet but not bad this time. Not really my style of wine though.
