Wednesday, March 31, 2021 - Medium to dark, fairly translucent. A little menthol, metal, and heat on the first nose. Palate a little thick and almost sweet at first. Tightens up fairly quickly, with stronger tannins and almost enough acidity. A little thin on flavor but let's give it some time. Day 2, definitely leaner and more satisfyingly tart, but still not a lot of flavor. I really would rather be drinking the Renzo Masi from a couple of weeks ago.
