Wednesday, April 21, 2021 - I'm now a fan of the Mencia grape when it's handled like in this wine. As suggested on back label (in Spanish) I decanted this since it is not filtered. There is a deep dark purple hue. Spice and berry fruit aromas came through on the nose, and there was luscious sweet fruit, textured tannins, creamy oak, all kept in check by a bright acidity. GVFM imo.
