Saturday, May 1, 2021 - A solid Cabernet but non wow factor.

Decanted for an hour and paired with a ribeye and it was a good pairing! Typical cabernet aromas of black current, leather and spices. The palate is full bodied with the black fruits, leather, pencil shavings and an oak finish. Quite good but not complex and perhaps slightly over extracted.

I picked up this wine at a great discount which made it nicer. If I had paid full retail I may not have liked it as much.
