Monday, May 24, 2021 - The bottle was opened about one hour before drinking, not decanted. Color: clear red. Nose: at the second day a bit sous-bois and leather. Taste: Opened up in the glass at the first day after half an hour, with cherry, raspberry and strawberry, a bit creamy. After that time with food rather well balanced. At the second day fine but slightly drying tannins were noticeable and the alcohol was with 14% a bit burning. A bit of licorice in the finsh. One noticed that this wine was not well integrated yet either. Quite young now; I guess that this wine will be better after one or two years of keeping from now. More like a German spatburgunder than a Burgundy. Potentially 88(-89)+.
