Friday, June 11, 2021 - Bright almost fluorescent pink
Light watermelon nose
Sharp savory more lean citrus peel flavors with a saline finish; I and my guests were taken aback a bit compared with recent years which seemed a bit more generous.
More serious a wine, for whatever it’s worth, one of the few times we had wine left in a Turley bottle at the end of the night. A nice example, but certainly not an easy wine; more of a wine to exclaim, “Wow, this is impressive” because you’re not quite sure what to make of it.
