Saturday, July 31, 2021 - Decanted 1hr15. Rich nose full of pencil shavings, ripe blackcurrant with a background of iodine and fennel. Excellent. Palate is medium weight with a slight lightness; shows blackcurrants against a backdrop of medium+ acidity and very light, fine tannin - background notes of lavender. Slight astringency on the finish perhaps but with good persistence. Drinking now.
