Monday, August 30, 2021 - Deep garnet red, with ruby reflections on swirling. The nose is earthy, moist forest floor, cassis, and hints of leather. Medium bodied with forward tannins and a long lingering finish. The palate opens up with ripe red fruit, dates, dried fig, and a spicy finish of tobacco and pepper. Still young. Next bottle in 2 years.
