Thursday, September 2, 2021 - This wine needs time to breathe. Upon opening and decanting for an hour, it was tight and slightly tannic. After another hour it loosened up and evolved into an expressive wine displaying notes of black cherries, blueberries, loam and toast. Nice mouthfeel with a long finish that exposes layers of bing cherries, ripe figs, black peppercorns, cassis, cedar and mint.
